Capitol Petroleum Group Sponsors NICU Training at Howard University Hospital

This fall, after being a long-time fundraiser and walk team organizer at the annual March for Babies walk, Capitol Petroleum Group, expanded their involvement in a new way to support other March of Dimes's initiatives by sponsoring a NICU Training Day. CPG selected Howard University Hospital as it's hospital of choice for this training opportunity. In collaboration with the March of Dimes, we hosted this event on October 25th for hospital staff and current medical school students. The event was held in the Tower Auditorium and had nearly forty attendees, with training led by an experienced NICU educator and nurse. Following the training, CPG received a brief tour of the NICU floor at Howard University Hospital and met the wonderful and incredibly hardworking staff of doctors, nurses, and administrators. It was a rewarding experience to see how March of Dimes supports hospitals in the area and the important life-saving work Howard University's NICU medical team does with babies and their families.
